Aussie party overrun with people via SMS & web promos

Police believe up to 1,000 people converged on a party at Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle, on Saturday night, after being notified over the Internet and through SMS test messages.

Luckily, unlike the news story from last week in North America, no one was murdered!
