Rear-ending its competition, Samsung today offered a glimpse of its newest music phone, the SGH-i310, prior to its unveiling at the CeBIT consumer electronics fair in Germany later this week. Powered by Windows Mobile 5.0, the SGH-i310 integrates a 8 GB hard drive, which is double the capacity of competing offerings including the soon-to-be launched Nokia N91, Sony Ericsson’s W950i and its own predecessor, the Samsung SGH-i300.

Batter me in flour and call me Susan!  That’s a bit good isn’t it? 

2 meg camera, USB 2, 8 gig hard disk, tv out… geez… and Windows Mobile 5, eh?  I shall investigate some more.  I bet it’ll be a whopper in terms of expense…
