I’m delighted to see it’s not just me. Absolutely ridiculous performance by the mobile industry in general. They seriously don’t have a clue. Genuine technical excuses about formats and compatibility issues are fine for the board room, but they’re simply not acceptable when you’re trying to promote mass consumer adoption.
