The South Western Railway will introduce facilities to book platform tickets through SMS and journey tickets through credit card and other facilities for passengers shortly.
Excellent! Is anyone from ONE Railway marketing department getting a blog digest of this post? They’re my local transport provider of choice. We’ve only just got two credit card machines at Billericay station. There are still ridiculous queues at peak times in the morning. An SMS ticket would be brilliant.
