Land Rover bluecasting marketing example

Link: mopocket.

Justin was a little surprised at receiving a bluecast whilst walking down Broadway - he relates his experience here…

I clicked yes. In a few moments the bluetooth message was delivered to my inbox (that is how it works on Symbian phones). I opened it up and to my surprise the RealPlayer application started up and the commercial that showcases the Land Rover LR3’s GPS navigating a cargo plane from France to Corsica began to play.

  • i have to tell you - i think that marketing casmpaign of Land Rover’s is such a good one - the commercial rocks, the stunt looks cool and it makes them look SO cutting edge and ahead of the curve (I dont see other companies with ads like this).

And now even bluetooth advertising! Wow! What will they come up with next. (I didn’t even know that mobile proximity marketing worked, really, and they are already out there doing it? I am so impressed by their marketing department!)
