According to China IT News, and the Ministry of Information Industry, China has 426 million cell phone users with an increase of 32.94 million new users in the first half of the year.

I saw this on Textually and, well, geez, what a staggering figure. I knew the Chinese market was big.. but really — they *added* almost 33 million new users — in the FIRST half of the year?

No wonder the Monstermob crew were so open-mouthed at the recent changes to the Chinese regulation cutting off almost half their Chinese ’subscribers’.
