Reporo launches BBC news feed

Picture_9_7I had a note in from Reporo today.  They have added in a BBC News feed to their mobile application — you simply click on ‘news’ when you’ve got it open.  I reckon that’s a good addition — a nice opportunity for a break whilst you’re busy shopping!

You know what I’d like to see?  A staff recommendations section that features 3-4 line write-ups on particular products or services that the Reporo staff have bought or liked.

While I’m at it, I’d also like to see a ‘What Ewan Bought’ feature — where they do a little 2-3 question interview with a recent Reporo shopper to see what they’ve bought recently.

Shopping on mobile is quite a new experience for us all — a few features like this might help (me, at least!) get some inspiration for things I could buy and how I could use Reporo in the future.   It would also help me feel as though I’m not the only one buying DVDs at 4am in the morning from my mobile.  ;-)

I was browsing the Reporo stores the other night.  There’s a ton of possibilities.  I couldn’t see any CDs I want — not through lack of choice — there’s an absolute ton on there, just through lack of passion.  I think I shall need to browse the Ministry of Sound shop a little bit more and find some good trance music.

I haven’t yet had time to watch Terminator 2 — I bought that on Reporo’s CDNOW store a month or so ago and a shockingly good price.  Wicked service.
