I was one of the first to get Vodafone’s new V800 Sony Ericsson handset back in November 2004. It was their top of the range 3g handset — and a good one at that. I thoroughly enjoyed using it for a good while. Served me well.

However it’s OLD. Really old — especially in the context of the fast moving mobile marketplace. So this point of sale 3g equipment pictured is almost 2 years out of date.

It’s a really smart way of demonstrating the various Vodafone services – you just press on the various buttons you see there and the screen emulates that of a V800. It’s dated. Really dated.

Don’t you think it’s time Vodafone upgraded the style to another more recent handset? The W810 or similar?
