Guernsey Telecom steps up to the stumps, steps forward, bat in hand — and whacks Jersey for 6
I’m doing that pointing thing with my hands at the moment as the Cricket Umpire does when you whack a 6 straight into the stand.
I had a mail this morning from a reader asking me to pass on the contact details of Mr Fix It at Guernsey Telecom — who also do MSISDNs. In fact, if I’m not very much mistaken, I think we have one somewhere on Guernsey Telecom that we use for various SMS services.
So. I’ve connected my colleague to the Guernsey Telecom chap. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the reader who emailed in.
Now, I can relax.
Seriously, someone poke the Jersey Telecom folk and see if they’re alive.
I thought I better do some poking myself and hunted around for the JT public relations phone number or email address. You know, just to say ‘er, look, honestly… could SOMEONE comment on this series of posts?’ Couldn’t find any mention whatsoever of ‘press’ on their site. So I’ll move on and get on with my day.

In a fit of over-googling, I found mobile numbers for some people at Jersey Telecom. Apparently they love their jobs so much they put their numbers all over t’interweb.
Wonder if anyone from JT is reading all of this?
