TextBritain.com – new UK mobile community launches

Picture_4_26 TextBritain officially launched today.  It’s a new UK-based community intended to engage mobile users to discuss all manner of mobile related things.

Founder David explains: –

I’m aiming for a new approach to online discussion between mobile phone users and enthusiasts. There are many mobile blogs around these days but the forums are slowly drifting into history.

TextBritain.com is looking to revive both the forum and indeed the community aspect of the mobile community on the web. The key is to  bring things up to date with a fresh face and obviously a focus on the british mobile community as most others focus on the US or the world as a whole.

The site includes news reporting, user content and games, and will be adding many exciting free and paid services over the coming weeks including mobile sms reminders, picture senders and editors, free sms and much more.

I’m now a member :)
