again challenging the old networks with a great value offer for messaging,
with no hidden penalties. 3’s 5c text, picture and video messaging
is the most competitive on the market and is available to all 3Pay
customers for life – and covers all text, picture and video
messages sent within the Republic of Ireland to any network, at anytime.

Absolutely phenomenal move for pre-pay customers. If that doesn’t get folk using services, I’m not sure what will, eh?

Interesting, however, that this appears to be ONLY for pre-pay customers.

I mean, seriously, come on… do you think our heads button up the back?

I’m having a look at the pay monthly price plans which all come with 9c per text rates.

Similar’s been happening here in the UK with the operators flopping out really good pre-pay deals, whilst the pay monthlies are being nailed to the wall.

So it’s super news. And it’s stupid news.
