A wicked commercial (found via ETTF). Vizzavi was positioning itself to be absolutely massive. It coulda-beena-contender. Many people I spoke to at the time reckoned that it could well have unseated Freeserve (dominant at the time), Yahoo, nailed Google and put phenomenal competitive pressure on the other European mobile operators — since it automatically had access to Vivendi & Vodafone’s combined 94 million customers. If it had been done right.
But that was a lonnnnnnng time ago.
