…out of date
I am totally out of date now: officially!
This morning I was on the tube when I saw a get out his N93 and flip open its screen to check something. Interestingly he didn’t open the clamshell, instead he just pulled up the screen - as though he was using it in TV mode.
It was a black N93. Still huge.
So… I am no longer equipped with the best and the brightest technology.
I’m relegated to second class now in the poncy phone charts. My N90 is still rocking away but the knowledge that the newer N93 handset is now on general release is a total bind.
What to do?
Well, I generally have a policy of not blowing flipping great wads of cash on phones when they first come out. From memory its a good 400 pounds+ for the N93 and I’m not entirely convinced by how good it will be. I don’t really think it’ll be that different from the N90. It will look nicer and it’ll be newer - but there’s nothing specific that is telling me I must get it now.
3.2 megapixel camera? Cool. Got a 2 megapixel at the moment.
Does good video? Yup so does the N90.
Let’s you watch TV? Big deal.
I shall have a browse on the Nokia shop and on Expansys…
