Three mobile strategy = whoever meets with us

Caught this quote from Daniel’s post on Three and Yahoo.

3 has certainly been daring where others fear to tread, recently launching a partnership with Skype, and now Yahoo! One wonders how this meshes with 3’s over-all content strategy since the Yahoo! Go application essentially makes the phone into a Yahoo! phone.

One knows that Three’s over-all content strategy is MIUAUGA - make it up as you go along. One moment it’s ‘GET MSN ON YOUR PHONE’, the next moment it’s ‘WE’RE A WALLED GARDEN’, next it’s ‘YAHOO FOREVER’…

My Three contract is up soon. I think I’ll just dump it. It’ll be difficult — the weeping folk on the ‘press 3 if you’re leaving us’ support line are always very insistent.

I’ve decided that I’ll give them a choice: Give me a tenner a month service plan, a new K800 handset with some minutes, and I’ll stay. Otherwise, I’m not going to bother with the half-price line rental for 6 months.

I’m just so uninspired by Three at the moment :|
