Overhead projector for mobile phone

Project-a-Phone, a company that makes products for projection of cell phone screens, today announced the launch of the ICD-5000 Image Capture and Display system. The ICD-5000 allows cell phone owners to display the content on their mobile screen to a computer, monitor, or projection screen.

Jeremy caught this one and asked if I’d ever use it. You know what, yes, I might. If, for example, someone wanted me to do a presentation on moblogging, I’d quite enjoy walking up to someone in the audience, snapping a pic, then sticking the phone in the projector unit and showing people the moblog process live. I reckon it’s a useful product for mobile gadget conferences when you want to show live action. Otherwise I’d be using the screenshot function and putting screenshots into multiple powerpoint slides.
