Qtags enables Handmark customers to download mobile applications quickly & easily
Handmark®, a leading developer and distributor of mobile content solutions, announced that it is using qtags-powered text promotions as a part of its advertising campaigns, making it easier for consumers to quickly download Handmark applications without having to remember URLs or visit a software store to make a purchase.
This sort of thing should be more widespread. If you’d like a piece of software on your phone, you should be able to simply text a keyword and have the URL delivered to you. There’s a ton of software companies who rely on you to visit websites and download to your PC first. Every mobile software developer should have a qtags service like this or similar.

We have a service on our home page that lets the user type in their phone number (world wide) that creates an account and delivers a text to download the software straight to the phone.
We’ve had people from russia to tokyo download the software so it seems to work really well.
