Waiting for the phone to ring

I borrowed this image from nad’s moblog for two reasons. The first reason is that it’s a wickedly good representative snapshot of the popular mobile phones across the last few years.

Second, it contains a phone I missed from my list! The Panasonic GD87! (Bottom left).

Look at the size of that one bottom middle. That has to be one of the first generation Three handsets, surely?

    And here begins the lesson in choosing a nickname for yourself when you’re younger that you’d still want when your older (nad = dan backwards).

    The brick is an NEC E313… it had such terrible battery life that Three shipped it with two batteries!
