ShopQwik featured in Total Mobile’s Top-50
Nice one chaps. SMS Text News sponsors ShopQwik feature in Total Mobile’s Top-50 ‘great things to do with your mobile’. Get in! It seems they’ve placed ShopQwik at number 50. I don’t agree with that at all. I reckon booking a flight and a hotel on your mobile has to rank up there near the top.
Booking a flight to prague and whisking away some gorgeous 6ft long haired (female) model is a LOT more exciting than getting a text update from Sky News.
Goodness knows what’s at number 49 if they’ve put ShopQwik at 50, eh?
Total Mobile is, from memory, a rather wickedly produced magazine. Kudos for them including ShopQwik. I bought a copy a while ago when I remembered that magazines existed as I walked around WHSmiths whilst waiting for a train. Good pictures, nice copy. However, you have to agree with me on this point: Total Mobile’s website is one of the shittest. Have a look and see what I mean: http://www.what-cellphone.com/.
The top web person at Future Publishing should be nutted for allowing Total Mobile magazine to have such an appalling online site. I wonder if they make their content available on Mobizines? Should do.
UPDATE: Ah right, don’t worry, it’s ok. I found their proper online presence here: http://blog.totalmobilemag.com/. Type in Total Mobile at Google and you get the shit site at number one and the blog site at number three. You, err, do the math on that logic. Phil Lattimore’s doing a wicked job of keeping the blog updated and relevant though.

Dude - I saw that article - I didn’t see it as a ‘Top 50′ in numerical order per se - but like ‘50 Great Things to do with your mobile’
..does that make sense?

Posted by ewan on November 27th, 2006 at 12:57 pm.The only reason I mentioned it was because I’m a big fan of Mobizines (which I think I read about on here before) and they feature in that list too…
…AND I only knew THAT because Mobizines mention it on their homepage - which I visit most days now to mess around with my RSS feeds…
All very convoluted!
;o)
