Now and again over the weekend I caught some television which included Vodafone Family advertising (as discussed on this post. Well, it’s playing well with the masses.
I’m sat there watching a bit of X-Factor and my dad exclaimed, ‘Why don’t we have that?’ when he saw the Vodafone Family advert.
He’s on Vodafone. So is mum. So is one brother. I’m on T-Mobile. So is my other brother. The dog, daisy, is currently without a handset.
Spoke to a relative over the weekend. First thing he said: ‘What’s this Vodafone Family thing about then? Should I get it?’
‘But you’re on Orange, aren’t you?’ I asked
‘Aye, but we could swap!’ she responded.
I wonder how many dads up and down the country are watching the Vodafone Family ads and thinking they’re missing a trick? Now, I further wonder if that will translate into increased sales for Vodafone?
