  2. Hi Ewan,

I would recommend mBlox or netsize.com both are quite good. I think mBlox might offer more competitive pricing but netsize offers end user support in each country in the local language.

They would need to get a shared keyword in each of the countries (this can be very expensive).

    Cheers,

    Amir

  3. Hi all, i’m looking for Premium SMS Provider for Latin America, any recommendations? so far, i’ve contacted netsize & mblox, but they do not operate in Latin America. thanks!

  4. I am in need of a premium rate sms and shortcode provider for Ukraine / Russia but cant find anyone who supplies and manages these networks

  5. I to am looking for a SMS provider in but in Turkey. One who can set up a short code auto response for a promotion. I did find someone in the UK who offered to do it but the cost was enormous.

  6. We do have web enabled applications that we want to “interface” to SMS. Users would send an SMS to an (ideally) short code and our application process accordingly the received info and in turn will send back to the mobile the required informatión.

This is initially for the Mexican market, we are currently looking for a company that can provide the short code, interface to one or more local operators and interfase thru the internet to our servers.

    Any comments are welcom, Thx.

  7. Hi,

To give you a run down of my experiences with the aggregators I’ve had experience with

Esendex – Terribly slow to deal with, limited coverage
ZIM – fast to deal with UK / US / Canadian coverage
Truesenses – Good european Coverage, long payout periods, small company.
Jet Multimedia – Europe and Argentinan coverage, quite slow to deal with but very friendly.
WPR – Impossibly slow to deal with, but good international coverage.

  8. I had very bad experiense with txtNation company. After the invoice was paid they had been trying to start the required service from February’07 withour any result. Thus I paid for the txtNation support but not for the service. But they don’t forget to send new invoices and very surprised when I’m not going to pay’em more. Think twice.

  10. A word of advice…

    AVOID TXTNATION LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

    Poor service,
Poor uptime, (nowhere near the 99.99% offered)
Charge end uers who mispell keywords!!!!!

  11. Hello All,

I am very interested in workig with mBlox, however cannot seem to get a sales rep to return my call. Does anyone there have a contact in sales? Need to get started and anything will help out much.

    Thanks!

  12. Hi,

Just to add to the other statements here with regards to TXTNation my advice is DONT GO THERE! After 15 years in business I don’t think I have ever come across a worse supplier and their attitude to dealing with issues absolutely stinks. I will let you know how the court case gets that far!

  13. Can anyone help me find a solution to this problem.I need a desktop-based software or system for news alert service.I want to start a news alert subscription service based on sale of recharge cards.
The subscriber buys the card, scratch them to reveal a serial number generated by the sytem.
following the instructions, the subscriber sms the serial number to a regular number in the system along with a code indicating their prefered service(sports, soccer, showbiz, business, news)
My system receives the sms, authenticates the serial number as mine, stores their number, sends the subscriber a welcome message saying that they will get daily(1 to 10 times) news alerts of their prefered service for 30 days.
the system also groups the subscribers according to their prefered service and number of days(which I will determine by the amount paid for subscription) and organised them to be sent bulk sms for 30 days. After 30 days their number is removed from the subscription list but remains in the database.

The system should be structured in such a way as to have subscription list for 1 to 10 times daily all expiring in 30 days.

Any one out there can design this system get in touch with me-nesta0071@yahoo.com

  14. I am having a terrible time with txtNation. No support and nothing works. It doesn’t seem to matter how many times I contact them because nothing ever gets puts right. All they seem interested in is selling me more products. Run like the wind from this company!!

  15. We offer one number (0024898XXXX) format connected to receive SMS from around 180 operators worldwide, and each SMS received will generate you a certain small revenue (in cents) the same Long Code is also connected to be used for Voice IVR and also provide a good high revenue.

    Contact me on : robert.haddad@smartcomgsm.com

  16. Hi Robert,

This is cool that you’ve got voice and SMS on the same number, but the issue is it’s not premium, and it relies on the home networks being able to terminate in the Seychelles and for users to accept paying for international call or sms rates – for a big brand they’d likely want to be able to tell users how much it was going to cost to call or text, and this I suspect would be very very tricky info to collate.

  17. RE: I to am looking for a SMS provider in but in Turkey. One who can set up a short code auto response for a promotion. I did find someone in the UK who offered to do it but the cost was enormous.

I’m Ole from Norway. To my knowledge it’s not possible to run a siingle short code globally.
We are using an MVNO called Spiderboss (www.spiderboss.com) and is located in Sweden. To stick to the topic, let me forward part of an email I got from them.

“For Premium SMS we cover these countries:

Middle East: Bahrain, Israel, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Yemen

    Americas: Mexico, USA, Canada

Europe: Russia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom

Asia/Pacific: Australia, New Zealand, India, China, Singapore, Taiwan, Brunei, Hong Kong, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Ukraine

    Africa: South Africa

It’s an impressive list. Also, they are very fast responding.
