UK Picture messaging: 1 million a day

UK mobile phone users are now sending almost 1 million picture messages every day, according to the first set of figures on MMS message activity released today by the Mobile Data Association (MDA).
Well that’s quite interesting news. Obviously it’s not quite a patch on SMS traffic, but at least it’s sizable. You know. In the millions.
I wonder what the figure is for people who *tried* to send picture messages but were failed by their network operators?

Yes its incredable isnt it! Over a million pics a day via SMS. Its even more incredable to think that when the mobile was invented people thought it would only be used for phone calls!
