Jajah absolutely rocks
I had to make a call to Luxembourg the other day and after 10 minutes on the mobile I thought I should try and find another method of calling. I assume that I’ve been fleeced for a good 60-100 pence a minute for that via T-Mobile, so I did a quick google for ‘international calls’.
I don’t know what I was thinking.
Well, actually, I was thinking, ‘I need to get one of those international 2p a minute accounts’, hence my Google search.
It was only until I did the search and saw ‘Jajah’ on the results page that I thought, ‘Oh, you idiot… remember Jajah!’
I flew over to www.jajah.com, logged in, typed in the Luxembourg number and woosh, within seconds, I was on my call. I had to call a mobile in Luxembourg, so that was 2 EURO cents a minute. Very reasonable I thought. If it had been landline-to-landline, then it would have been free!
Get in!

It would have not have been free unless the number you were calling was alreadyregistered with Jajah.

“What is JAJAH Free Global Calling?
JAJAH Free Global Calling allows you to make free local and international phone calls. It applies to land line and mobile calls to and within: the United States, Canada, China, Hong Kong and Singapore; and it applies to landline calls to and within Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, the UK, Germany, France, Italy and most other European nations.
It applies when both call participants are registered and active JAJAH users. In countries where free phone calls are not available, or if someone is calling a non-JAJAH member, calls are subject to JAJAH’s regular low rates.”
I am not sure you where you got 2 eurocents a minute from. UK Landline to Luxembourg Mobile is 18.11 cent per min ex vat. From a UK Mobile its 29.58 cent. You can get call cheaper suppliers then that .
