NIKKEHHHHHH! NIKKKKEHHHH!

012107220057What’s that song, where some guy sings ‘Yooooou bring meeeeeeeee….’? He’s wailing something or other. Anyway, there’s a girl sat next to me on the train (see photo) with her Nokia slider phone on about 70% volume playing that song.

She’s gone through about four tracks so far. The first thing she did after sitting down was to bring out her phone from her faux Gucci bag and switch on the MP3 player.

She looked quite cool until she, no word of a lie, pulled out a dirty looking Nokia 3330 and yelled, in her best Essix accent, ‘ELLOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH’ and then proceeded to scream at her friend NIKKKKKKIIEHHHHH.

WHY DINT YA GET THA BUS NIKKIIIIIEHHH!

WODYA DO THAT FURRRRRRRR?

WHAAAA DINT YA PAY FUR THE BUS NIKIIIIIIIIIIIII????

Geez. At full volume as wel. The whole carriage was intimately involved with her and NIKKEHHHHHHHH.

It was more than I could stand. I had to document it real time.

Anyway the point of this post was to highlight that this girl was using her phone as a mini ghetto-blaster. Good.

Interestingly, she STOPPED playing the music when she got a text on the Nokia. She, like most, hasn’t figured out that Symbian allows multitasking.
