Tango hunting for customers wanting to dump SMS Spam

Irish mobile messaging software firm Tango Telecom has revealed plans to help mobile operators in the Middle East fight SMS spam and provide them with converged charging technology.

They’ve already got a contract with a Middle Eastern operator and are on the hunt for more.

Has anyone experience with Tango’s solutions? I wonder how effective they are. I imagine, if you do it right, you could probably dump quite a lot of the rubbish spam traffic going through your network.

  • Dumping spam from your own network is easy - it’s dumping spam coming in from another network that is the problem…
