Vodafone to launch Three-style video portal service

Think of it as YouTube for your phone, with a Google twist.

Vodafone is poised to launch a video upload-and-view service that will allow customers who have camera-enabled mobiles to upload MMS or WAP videos the Vodafone Live portal, for viewing by one and all

I’m a little uninspired by this but, hey, let’s have a look at it and see what it’s like?

Obviously Vodafone will need to sort out their data rates — this should be happening shortly though…

  • Is it just me, or have 3 done exactly this for the last year with SeeMeTV?

    Oh well, good on VF for working out a use for videophone cameras…eventually…
