Ah hah, check this release which just arrived:
Following its sensational launch in the USA (www.allfreecalls.net) and subsequent blocking by telecoms giant AT&T, Irish CEO Pat Phelan of Cubic Telecom is delighted to be able to announce at Etel the launch of the all free calls service in the UK
This low cost - no cost telecom service allows customers with ‘Free Talk Bundles’ such as O2 & Orange, make International Calls for Free. If they don’t have such a package, customers can still save up to 92% on the cost of International calls.
We have now decided to share this opportunity with others and will give users their own set of access numbers, If you own a blog, a high traffic site or just have contacts in an overseas community you can launch your own allfreecalls in the UK .
Every time customers of our Agents use their Access Numbers to make International Calls the Agents can see the traffic in minutes and profit instantly on their own secure on-line Webpage in real time. They then invoice us for total in their report at the end of each month. It’s simply an unbeatable business model.â€
There is no cost in registering as an Agent. See www.allfreecalls.net> for further details or speak to Pat directly on the number below:

It’s another winner, eh? That’s a wicked service offering for anyone with a community of people who regularly call internationally from the UK. Love it.

Could somebody explain how this model works before I sign up and get a load of cards printed for all the foreign students in town?
Nice one, Pat!

The calls are not FREE they come out of your inclusive x-net contact minutes, which you pay for monthly in your bundle.. After your you have used up your minutes your supplier will charge the full rate to call them.
T-Mobile are blocking 07744 calls at the moment so the 07744 number will only work from Orange.

Pat please get it re-connected in the US please. We miss it!

if your operator is blocking calls to mobile numbers, rebtel allows you to create local numbers for international contacts.
every customer gets ten free calls a month to the 1.3 billion people who are part of the rebtel community. You can join at http://www.rebtel.com ; it takes less than a minute and costs nothing.
that said, well done to anyone who is joining forces to defeat the dastardly mobile industry…
