Can anyone guess which UK mobile operator I visited today?

  • I bet it was the guys in Red. To talk about them inviting open source developers into their red garden so that they can swamp their customers [at a cost] with freebie mobile applications and announce to the world that they are embracing the open source movement.

Having seen their pathetic [Beta] attempt being launched, they must now be trying to implemenmt a community programme and are asking for specialists like you to try and build them a community of developers.

Why can’t the mobile operators just stick to what they do best.

    Being shit………………………………………..

  • Hmm - dunno why but I think it was the guys in Orange.

No real reason - just a gut feeling.

  • Based on no more information than the fact that you were ‘in a cab’ and saw a fairly nice car I’m going to guess Orange - central offices, cabs galore and some swish cars willing to get stuck in traffic
