Now hear this: Nokia N70 users – upgrade

The Nokia N70 was a super phone – but now, surely, it’s time to upgrade?

Why what’s suddenly wrong with it? I’ve just upgraded my wife’s 6280 to my old N70 while it goes in for service, and she seems really impressed with it.

It is/was a very good phone.
But there are (nowadays) much better handsets available.

Would love to, if only to get at x-series, but when will 3 offer a (fee payable) upgrade path? I’m stuck without x-series for 6 months :-(

Will X-Series run on the E90? *That* would be sweet.

I just pay a tenner a month for it Andrew – but you need to have a compatible handset to do so – in this case, the N73

    *chuckles*
Just when I was leaning towards picking the N70…

I’m a habitual Nokia creature with little interest in video or music (nor contact sports, skydiving and flower arranging!) and prefer the candybar shape with a larger display. Wifi would be nice. :)

N80ie? Or save up for the N95?
    Any other suggestions?

ps. I think I read that 3 had problems with the W850(?) but I’m perplexed that they still haven’t added further handsets to X-series.
Do the applications really take *months* to customise?

I realise, but a new handset is a bit of a large fork-out for me, so forced to wait till my next renewal :) Just a downer that they’re not backporting the software.

Ah well. Great blog, btw. Keep it up.
