Congratulations are due to SMS Text News sponsor, ShopQwik — they’ve just won the Best Application category as voted by the Boston Adobe Mobile And Devices User Group who, as you might imagine, know a thing or two about mobile and flash for mobiles.
ShopQwik makes copious use of the medium and, if you haven’t looked at it recently, allows you to book a flight, a hotel or hire a car almost anywhere in the world within 60 seconds. Fantastic.

thanks for the post! Hopefully people will look at Flash Lite content more closely! At least is what we are trying to do as Flash Lite developers.

At the moment flights are to and from 350+ cities in europe, russia and parts of africa, hotels are global with 42,000 all over the world, car hire is global with 8000 locations and 10,000 beds in the med.
Next month we release ShopQwik 2 which will be global in every sense.
