I wonder if its just low level network updates? Probably. I shall switch off shortly and find out!

I’ve had 2 of these over the past week, Not noticed anything different! My guess is it’s to enable 2G roaming over to Orange….
Comment by John on 1 March 2007:
I got that about 2 weeks ago.
No idea what changed, if anything
Comment by Ric on 1 March 2007:
You can now roam on Orange, it’s 3’s version of a SIM update.

This happened to me a while back and all that happened was that the ‘net would only work on roughly 50% of my connections for a week after.
I just assumed it was some network level stuff they were doing.

I can’t really quantify it, but since I got this message my feeling is that network conditions have worsened. My N73 used to hand off fairly neatly between 2 and 3G during a call, now I just seem to lose the connection. Other calls seem to be more flaky. When the signal is good it might just be that the call quality is better, but when the signal is not perfect it seems to break up really badly. Anyone think I’m imagining things…?
