“You’re all fired” text message boss is killed in car crash
Deary me. Got this in from Alex. This is text-related — the chap actualy did quite a lot to increase the prominence of text messaging in business, although not in the best circumstances perhaps.

The former boss of a no-win no-fee compensation firm which told its 2,500 staff by text they would not be paid has been killed in a car crash.
The text message his firm reportedly sent out to staff:
Urgent. Unfortunately salaries not paid. Please do not contact office. Full details to follow later….


Not very often you can genuinely say this about someone, but that really was his come-uppance!
