For a long time I’ve felt the mobile industry has been quite fragmented — with no good, central place to locate and browse its best and its brightest. While various networking services and associations certainly help, I wanted an easily accessible, searchable and comprehensive list of people and their companies. What’s more, I wanted the ability for people with genuine enquiries to be able to contact these movers and shakers…
…That’s what I wrote late last year when I introduced the first iteration of the Who’s Who in Mobile.
I’ve hired help in the form of Krystal to help me manage and develop the list on-going. So, if you’re a mover and shaker in mobile — I’m counting anything from public relations to handset manufacturers, please would you participate?
To do so, just drop an email to krystal@smstextnews.com with the subject ‘Who’s Who’ and the text ‘add me’. She’ll mail you a few helpful questions for you to answer. Send us back the replies and… woooosh… you’ll be on the list.
With the market saying 'no' to Nokia's Ovi Store, what do you think can be done to change this?
