Had a quick note from Max, the organiser of networking event FILMOBILE, which takes place this Friday in London. Here’s the scoop.

FILMOBILE is a project which aims to create a dialogue between the industry, filmmakers and artists working with mobile devices through a variety of on and off line events.

In order to kick-start its activities, FILMOBILE is organising a networking event in the Centre for Excellence at the University of Westminster on the 29th June. The program includes presentations by leading industry practioners, artist,
photographers and filmmakers. The talk is followed by an open discussion and wine reception.

It’s being held at the University of Westminster Centre for Excellence this Friday, between 5pm and 7pm. To get there, just jump a Bakerloo, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Jubilee or Metropolitan line tube to Baker Street - you’ll find the venue directly opposite at 35 Marylebone Road. Or tap in NW1 5LS if you’ve got satnav - but be warned parking is only available for those with special needs.
