An SMS Text News reader knocked me over an email yesterday asking if I was going along to the Sony Ericsson handset launch in Berlin.

Nope. Nobody tells me about these things. Ergo I’ll watch with muted interest.

5 megapixel camera (yeah, it’ll be good.. but, you know, we’ve seen that with the N95) and some more gigabyte music devices.

I hope they bring something decent out of the hat lest they go the way of Motorola with their top of the line K800. The K800i was a bit of a disappointment, I felt. A holding pattern.

So, excitement all round…? We’ll see.
