During my lunchtime walkabout in Hartlepool I also noticed that the 3 store has opened up.
As I stood and observed (and took this photo), people were streaming into the shop and the salesmen appeared to be doing a good job of conversion.

The best 3 deals are on-line. Just picked up 3 x N80’s for teenage daughters.
£17.5 a month for 1400 texts and 300 x-network minutes, a free 512m memory card and a free BT headset.
The web site suggests you can also add xseries to the package, but not sure if this can actually be ordered.
They are not that happy with the N80’s - too bulky - but should save me a fortune compared to their existing t-mobile contracts. They constantly exceeded their texts and/or minutes - and the damage was significant even for a few texts.
