My brother (Mr Bladewatch) and his long time girlfriend, Sham, were married at the weekend.
I and my younger brother Fraser, both decked out with Nokia N95s, covered the whole thing with copious pictures and movies.
Whilst there was also an official photographer and videographer, the stuff we captured on our handsets is just as good. The immediacy and 5 megapixel quality that the N95 affords you is fantastic.
We’re going to have to do the usual 2 week wait to see the official ones. Our pictures and video were being bluetoothed around the wedding reception like no tomorrow — and were then on Flickr for everyone within hours.
The videos we took — near DVD quality — are just wicked. They are already flying round the world to remote family enclaves courtesy of Youtube, Google Video and email.
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
