I was just having a look at the terms and conditions of T-Mobile’s free evening/weekend calls deal on their Flext plans.

I assumed that free evening/weekend calls was for calling landlines only.

It’s not.

It’s for calling anything — any UK mobile network, any landline, off-peak.

Free calls are between 7pm and midnight Monday to Friday (evening) and from midnight on Friday to midnight on Sunday (weekend) and are for calls from the UK to the customers of any UK mobile network and to local and national numbers.

You may lose eligibility for the free calls if you move to another price plan. You will lose eligibility for the free calls if you upgrade or otherwise renew your minimum term contract.

Your usual price plan allowances and charges will apply once you have used up your 10,000 free minutes a month.

That is seriously super value. Super. Especially when everyone else is paying upwards of 35p a minute to call a friend on another network after they’ve used up their minutes.

  3. Last week i brought a new phone on flext priceplan and it said on the site i get free weekend calls.
    but i havent got it
do i have to apply for it?

  4. I believe the offer ended 31st August. But if you got your phone while the offer was on, you should be able to get T-Mobile to honour it…….but only if you got it through T-Mobile. Carphonewarehouse weren’t able to offer me that deal.
