    …and the first thing that any one with any sense is gonna do is change the product ID code back to the “standard Nokia” value, run the free to download software updated, and get the latest stable firmware from Nokia with all the patches, A-GPS, VOIP activeated and no third party branding or ‘funky’ tools.

    Firmware updates are acceptable, piddling around with the OEM look and feel/resourcing is not … please operators, (in best Simpsons voice) won’t someone think of the developers!

    Glad my post sort of made sense, was standing outside the store in Bluewater at the time trying to post in WordPress in full screen mode on my E61. Painful experience.. :)

    Hope you’re right Mole, although the first thing I usually do with a new handset is de-OEM it.
