This is neat. Very cool indeed.

I got the note through from Camden Council, my local council, asking who lived in my place here in London. As I’m new to the area, I had to update it with my details, sign my name and then post it off.

However, if there were no changes — or if the supplied details on the register were perfectly fine — you don’t need to bother with postage!

You can text the security codes printed on your form to the Camden SMS number (which looks to be a Jersey Telecom range? 07797) and that’ll update the system for you.

Brilliant.

No need to arse about with posting letters.
