TWELVE prisoners are due to appear in court this morning to face charges of unlawfully using mobile phones inside jail. They are the first inmates to be prosecuted under new laws aimed at combating the growing problem.
The prosecutions come as new figures show that nearly 200 mobile phone are being seized in the country’s prisons every month. Data from the Prison Service show 1,385 phones were confiscated up to the end of July this year.

How else are they going to order pizza?
