PingMe asks ‘what *should* you be doing?’

Software development consultantly Zetetic have just unveiled a new interactive reminder service with web, email and sms interfaces plus social features.

According to the company, PingMe is an inversion of the Twitter phenomenon: it answers the question “What *should* you be doing?” Users create tasks and reminders, called Pings, that are sent via e-mail or SMS on a defined schedule. PingMe’s mobile features let users create and reschedule pings via text message or email to keep up with changing schedules on-the-fly while away from the internet.

PingMe also provides several social functions so PingMe users can link-up with others and share their Pings or send scheduled reminders. This helps people coordinate tasks and reminders with spouses, friends, family, and colleagues.
