I finally got connected on the train
For sometime now I’ve not been able to get my Apple to connect via bluetooth to my handset when I’ve been out and about. This morning, on the train into London from Henley, Eureka!
I upgraded to a new version of Novamedia’s Launch2net a month or so ago and hadn’t made time to give it a go.
Click, click… bluetooth… and done! I was connected. As I wasn’t on a super-uber-fast train (I think I was on a branchline service from Henley), the data was usable. I always worry about the handovers between cells — and when you’re moving at lightspeed (e.g. 125mph on a train), getting a mobile internet connection that’s usable via the laptop has usually been an arse. So at about 40mph, the train as going at a nice speed. The connection was brilliant.
Fantastic. Finally.

Hello,
I am glad our solution helps you stay connected ,-) The name of the software, however, is launch2net (although launch2me sounds good as well).
Thanks for the nice entry,
Jan Fuellemann (nova media)
