3UK USB modems flying off shelves

3UK USB modems flying off shelves
I hear that 3UK’s mobile broadband offering priced at a sweet-spot deal of 10 pounds per month is really resonating with the public. I dont have any figures yet, I hope to have some soon. Right now I just see some surprised and elated faces at 3UK. Good work!

  • Charge a reasonable price for something people want, and they’ll buy it. Try to rip them off, and they’ll tell you where to stick your dongle. ;-)

  • It’s all very positive for Three and I’m pleased to see it. That said, I’m no expert on the technology, but I start to worry about contention (is that the right term in this instance?) if there are tens of thousands of users out there fighting for limited HSDPA resources. This could turn from a positive story to a negative one very quickly if Three don’t keep up with rolling out enough capacity…
