Miyowa, the European leader in mobile instant messaging, today announced that following on from KPN’s successful launch of Windows Live Messengerâ„¢ on i-mode last year, the company has now deployed the mobile Java version of Windows Live Messengerâ„¢.

Under this new agreement all KPN customers will be able to use Windows Live Messengerâ„¢ – the most popular instant messaging service in the Netherlands – on their mobile phone, thanks to Miyowa’s universal mobile instant messaging technology, MoveMessengerTM.

Ah this is good news. I’m delighted to see mobile instant messaging services being adopted and offered ‘officially’ by mobile operators. The more, the better…
