There are some positive outcomes from the ultra annoying postal strikes that have been winding up many of the UK population!

With threats of more postal strikes over the coming months, educational communities have been encouraged to find an innovative approach to effectively communicate with their students.

Blackburn College have been particularly impressed by the vast amount of ways they have been able to integrate the JANET txt messaging system within the college. Not only is it useful for loan payments, but can also be used for administrative notifications such as lecture changes or exam results, mentoring special needs students, business continuity such as emergency planning, questions to tutors and for marketing events.
