PLEASE JUST GET SPINVOX WON’T YOU?

I’ve been abroad — ostensibly on business, but in Italy, it’s always a break. Especially in the Tuscan Hills. One of my colleagues kept on getting phone call after phone call.

Obviously I was rather smug for most of the time, sat there with my ‘3 ITA’ signal paying nothing to make my calls walking down cobbled streets, whilst my colleague fought off 55p/min charges.

The real wind-up was that they (I don’t want to specifically identify them - so it’s ‘they’, not ‘he’ or ’she’) would often miss a call. Or they wouldn’t know who was calling so they’d let it go to voicemail. Then they’d get a text message saying ’You have a voicemail waiting’.

So they’d call voicemail. Listen to it. Then send a text or make a call, or do nothing.

Arse.

“Why don’t you get Spinvox?” I asked, a number of times.
“I ..er… dunno,” came the reply.
“It just works, right? Your caller leaves a voicemail, you get the text translation — it’s always more or less accurate and you don’t have the 1980s behaviour of having to call up to listen.”

I continued, over and over about three or four times, listing the benefits of Spinvox.

Eventually they relented. Now they love it. Another convert!

  • As a user.. can I also point out the benefits when you lose/break your phone?

I mashed up my N95 big style at the weekend, two days without it while my replacement turned up.
Did I miss much? No. Why? Because not only are my voicemails delivered as text, they’re also delivered as emails!

Phone’s not even on/working and I still get messages from my Mum.

If this has failed to arrive then please email services@spinvox.com (with all your details etc) for further assistance.

(I’ve told them to expect your mail)
