Twitter bows to the reality of the UK text marketplace

The writing was on the wall for Twitter for some time. People used to ask me questions like, “BUT how can they do this?” and I replied with the only answer: They’ve bought a job lot and be very clear, they’re paying for it.

Or to put it in other words, you can send as many text messages to Twitter as you want, but you’ll only get 250 SMS texts per week (from Sunday to Sunday) inbound to your mobile.
