So I’m departing these shores for Tel Aviv tomorrow to check out the mobile scene and for the Unlimited Drinks event on Wednesday.

I’ll be making copious use of (new SMS Text News sponsor) MaxRoam’s roaming capabilities (T-Mobile UK — a whopping £1.40/min, MaxRoam: £0.31/min).

I also noticed, with some surprise, that 3 have a network there. Well I must have blanked that one. I can name most of the others (Sweden, Hong Kong, Italy, Denmark and so on) but I totally blanked Israel. I’m going to check out some stores if I can.

Anyway: To the subject of this post — What mobile companies (or individuals) do you rate in Israel? I’d very much appreciate your recommendations.
