T-Mobile UK’s marketing team out selling £20 USB modems

Reader Jim was out and about in Sutton this weekend when he saw a T-Mobile UK branded tutut (is that what you call these things?) driving about. Jim immediately reached for his brand-new iPhone and snapped this picture.
I wonder just how the T-Mobile UK USB Mobile Broadband team are getting on faced with 3UK’s selling-like-hot-cakes tenner-a-month USB service?
At £20/month minimum, T-Mobile are DOUBLE the cost. No wonder 3UK has been having to ration their USB modem sales here in the UK. The sweet spot is definitely a tenner a month.

I think that’s ‘tuk tuk’, Ewan. They’re the things we were told never to use when in Bangkok - no insurance you see - although I’m sure T-Mobile had that well covered (not sure the same can be said for their network though…).
