Good morning! Time for an ultra quick SMS Text News survey. I’m wondering how many of us will be checking (work related) emails over Christmas? I’m betting quite a lot. 70%?

I think the results will be something like this:
- Yes, via my Blackberry: 45%
- Yes, via my mobile phone: 20%
- Yes, via my computer: 25%
- No way, I’ll be relaxing! 10%

Do you mean just work emails, or work and personal, or just personal, or any?

I’m fortunate enough to be in one of those strange companies that doesn’t have external access to email (and I’m not going to do anything to resolve that between now and Christmas!). So, only personal emails for me. Guess that means my answer is “No way, I’ll be relaxing”.

My mobile is connected to an Exchange server, however the work is a side job. My main job will not see anything lest they get me over AIM Mobile (SMS).
Posted by Antoine of MMM on December 5th, 2007 at 6:17 pm.I’m sure a depressing number of people will be checking emails - the real question is will they be doing it surreptiously or with the blessing of your wife / husband / partner / family etc? I’ve been known to hide in my children’s plastic garden house with my blackberry and a can of stella to catch up on emails.
Is that odd?
